The Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame announced the 2017 recipients of its Amateur Sports Development Fund (ASDF).  A total of $11,000 will be awarded to eight recipients this year.

The 2017 Award Recipients:

• Algonquin Sports for Kids
• Buffalo MUNY AAA
• Depew Lacrosse
• East Aurora Baseball & Softball
• Hertel-North Park Youth
• Notre Dame Academy
• St. Mark’s Elementary School
• Taylor Sullivan

The ASDF has been assisting Western New Your amateur athletes and organizations since 1993. It was originally set-up to assist the World University Games. Over the past 20 plus years more than 100 organizations and individuals have benefited from the fund. Nearly 150,000 has been awarded to amateur athletes, teams and organizations seeking financial assistance to foster the pursuit of a higher level of athletic achievement.
