Adam Page

A native of Buffalo, Adam Page was born with hydrocephalus and spina bifida, a birth defect caused by incomplete formation of the vertebrae. Despite the challenges of 10 separate surgeries, Page grew up loving hockey and began playing sled hockey at the age of six with the Buffalo Sabres.

He continued to develop his sled hockey skills, and made his debut on the 2007-08 U.S. National Sled Hockey Team as the youngest member of the squad at age 15. He made his first Paralympic Team in 2010 in Vancouver.

As a member of USA’s Paralympic Sled Hockey Team, Page is a 3-time gold medalist (2010, 2014, 2018). He has won a silver medal with Team USA at the 2017 World Championships. In total, he won 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze at the World Championships from 2008 through 2017.

Page continues to be an inspiration for individuals throughout the community and he co-founded the Sled Hockey Foundation, a non- profit organization that provides individuals with impairments the opportunity to take part in Para ice hockey.

Page also enjoys a number of other activities, including swimming, wheelchair lacrosse and playing golf. In addition to his success as a para hockey player, he has been active in the Lounsbury Ski Adaptive program at Holiday Valley, and has been mono skiing for more than a dozen years.
